Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will work within our Business Office and report to the Accounting Supervisor. Work hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required as needed but not frequent and in accordance with Labor Code.  
Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
- Collect, analyze and summarize accounting information.
- Assist Accounting Supervisor with month end and period end financial closing
- Assist Accounting Supervisor with the year end audit and providing relevant information
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
Analysis:
- Assist with income and cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts
- Maintaining a monthly Dashboard for all KPI’s
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Others:
- Liaise with external parties such as banks and other service providers to support staff & faculty in financial/banking needs.
- Cross-train with accounting staff to provide additional support and coverage during vacations.
- Assist Accounting Supervisor and complete other duties as assigned.
