Finishing Technical Manager

* Finishing technical responsibility
- To ensure that all item in line are run smoothly through production
- To ensure technical figures of all products are complied with Quality Standards and Customer’s Needs
- Ensure finishing system sheets, colour panel, step and station panels are available and correct in advance of production
- Run a test production for difficult finishes, new systems and large batch production
- Check the spray equipment is maintained and clean and is set correctly for each job, general housekeeping is observed, including the dust free finishing room.
- Organize pre production meeting with all relevant people to ensure everyone understand the finish, how to apply each step and how to set up the spray line
* Skill training:
- Set up a training program for the workers and record development
- Continuously assess the skills of every Finishing worker for training purposes
* First off production (FOP):
- Ensures that an approved first-off production (FOP) is available on time on all FOP-designated areas in Finishing
- Each step of the finishing process must be checked and approved before continuing to the next step
- Conduct briefing with the Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, QC, and Color Technicians about the critical points of on the finish of the item after an FOP is approved
* Process control:Ensures that every item in-progress are being processed according to the best method possible.
* Color panel:
- Ensures that reference color panels are available on time for every finish or group of finish and returned to the CDL when not in use.
- Ensures that system sheets are posted in every work stations and at the back of every color panel.
* Quantity/cost saving:
- Decides quality standards in Finishing.
- Finishing continuous improvement such as visual and innovations that contributes productivity, efficiency and quality improvement

- Experience in furniture finishing
- Have knowledge about chemical usage
- Can recognize color, distinguish the difference in color
- Language: fairly communicate in English & Vietnamese
- Education: college or above
