Game Artist

Working with Game designers to create the characters, environments, props, and designs based on feedback.
Researching relevant project material including translation styles, characters, game UI.
Creating detailed concept designs in a variety of mediums specific to the brief such as 2D drawings.
Collaborating with the project team to brainstorm and interpret the project brief.
Presenting concepts, research, and references to the project team.
Make sure delivery the tasks on timelines, schedules and reporting any issues to the Product Manager
Participating in feedback consultations and noting changes.
Keeping up to date with the latest design trends and advancements in Tools and technology.
Interpreting initial ideas and creating quick sketch drafts for reviewing.

KNOWLEDGE:

Academic background in art, design or equivalent programs
Knowledge of visual language: texture, color theory, dimension, scale, perspective, shade, composition depth of field, proportion, spatial awareness, movement, lightning
Possess good understanding of design standard and visual hierarchy
Knowledge about art concept and environment
Knowledge of game genres and trends in gaming is a plus
Strong understanding of UX, specialized in mobile games is a plus
Knowledge of zoology, layout design, texturing and asset creation
User experience related certification is a plus

SKILL:

Impeccable understanding and ability in artistic fundamentals - such as perspective, composition, color and light theory, form, shape and texture
The ability to work well in a team as part of a wider design process, as well as being able to work independently and self-motivate to keep on top of deadlines.
Resilience to receive constant feedback and adapt your work
Strong communication skills to pitch and describe your concepts
Outstanding technical abilities, especially in creative programmes and software, as you&039;ll be creating and refining images digitally as well as by hand
Research skills and an exceptional imagination to create images of people and places that don&039;t yet exist
Excellent time management skills, to sketch and adapt images quickly within tight deadlines

ABILITIES:

A love of playing mobile games and sensitivity to the user experience is a plus
Communicate effectively with other team members (strong communication skills)
Ability to adapt to various art genres, theme, style
Grow mindset: Can-do attitude, learning spirit, persist in the face of setback
Willing to share ideas and knowledge.
Organizational and analytical ability, problem solving skills
3D character skill is a plus
Strong interest for Puzzle, Casual games art is a plus
Used to working under pressure and consistently meeting deadlines
Strong Emotional Intelligence is a big plus.
Possess the spirit of pioneer, creative and unique thinking
Good artistic eyes and pay attention to detail
Ability to take on constructive criticism and delivering amendments based on feedback
