General Accountant - HCM

• Performing the reconciliation progress, being a key contact point to work with internal departments and external agencies to finalize the figures before settlement.
• Manage the petty cash for daily requirement (non-significant amount and limited transactions)
• Verifying purchase requests and maintaining a good filling system for both of soft and hard copies.
• Handling full set of accounts, keeping track of all financial transactions for accuracy and monitoring account reconciliation.
• Working closely with external auditor to ensure a smooth periodic audit, support Finance Manager to work with tax authority, being responsible for foreign loan registration with the State Bank of Vietnam;
• Preparing financial statements and other management reports required by Finance Manager / Managing Director, supporting Finance Manager to prepare management accounts on monthly and yearly basis.
• Preparing and controlling the tax returns, tax fillings including VAT, CIT, FCT; support Finance Manager to review PIT prepared by HR;
• Following up AR & AP and recommending a collection and disbursement plan;
• Coordinating with Office admins to perform periodic physical checks of fixed assets and office equipment.

Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Auditing
Relevant Experience
• At least 2 years’ experience as a General Accountant or Senior Accountant in accounting firm
Essential skill
• Good at Excel and Word, familiar with cloud accounting software, experience with Netsuite is preferable
• High teamwork spirit and problem-solving skill
• Attention to detail and diligence
• English communication (good at reading and writing)
