- Benefits: Social and health insurance is to be paid according to the laws of Vietnam and included within the gross wages paid to the employee. Paid holidays include all Vietnamese holidays; Christmas and New year; Summer Vacation. 3 paid sick days/ year
- Contract Period: 2 years period; Trial period: August 1 2022 - Sept 30 2022. It is the intention of Kidspire that this role could be continued after Oct 1 2022 if both parties agree that employer and employee are a good match for continued cooperation.
- Salary: 6,000,000 - 7,400,000 vnd/month (accomodation support if relocate at Vung Tau 2mil/month); Tet bonus: 50% of 1 month salary

- Working Location: Primarily in Vung Tau; Travel may required among our partner orphanages’ locations in other cities/provinces
Job Goals
Plan the high quality lessons and effectively facilitate classes at an orphanage in Vung Tau as well as support Girl Empowerment Program. Work closely with Program Lead and other team members to make sure the quality, high engagement and students enjoy learning in safe, brave and caring settings.
Summary of key function:
Lead Teacher at Vung Tau Province
- Build and maintain the relationship with the orphanage
- Participate trainings with Education Coordinator, other experts, lead teachers to improve teaching skills
- Co-plan the lessons and co-facilitate the 25-week classes (50 hours/year) at one orphanage in Vung Tau
- Co-organize and co-facilitate 1-2 Summer STEM Camp/STEM Days at orphanage
- Coordinate volunteers, mentors for different programs at orphanage
- Be the representative of Kidspire at Vung Tau orphanage
- Build the rapport with students
- Demonstrate professional behavior, including dress, speech, and interactions
- Assess and reflect on the teaching and learning process; make suggestions for improvement
- Encourage students in learning through differentiating engaged activities
- Write reports for orphanages and government when needed (normally 2-4 times/year, depend on orphanage requirement)
- Work with Program leaders so can implement the core programs of Kidspire at the orphanage (Leadership Program, Girl Empowerment Program - Technovation, Homework Hub, STEM/Maker)
- Know the situations of each students in classrooms
Support Girl Empowerment Program
- Demonstrate the understanding of girl empowerment program goals - specifically Technovation Global Challenge
- Co-plan and support Girl Empowerment Program leader and implement the assigned tasks: coordinate participants, mentors, volunteers, develop training content…
- Work closely with the Girl Empowerment Program leader to ensure the quantity of the program for 150 participants.
