HCM - Designer Team Leader

I. JOB BRIEF:

Design Leads take the delivery of projects. Design Leads are directly responsible for the Quality, Creativity and Delivery of the projects they are overseeing, along with revenue generated on these projects, and team satisfaction.

II. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Produce and create design of apparel, including suits, casual wear, seasonal clothing, and intimate apparel.

2. Work with the Design team to identify relevant trends early including; focused key items for the season, volume lines, colour palettes and print direction.

3. Identify target markets and demographics for designs.

4. Give design direction for the fashion season.

5. Meet with sales and management executives to discuss design ideas.

6. Create preliminary sketches of designs.

7. Develop products and Prints.

8. Write specifications like colour schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements.

9. Choose colours, fabrics, and other materials.

10. Collaborate with technicians to check fitting.

11. Build, train and manage a team of Fashion Designers.

12. Work with the brand/marketing team for photoshoot’s styling , VM guidline.

-      Bachelor's Degree fashion design, product design or equivalent.

-      Solid fashion design or product development experience in the apparel industry with at least 3 years experience.

-      Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and other graphic tools

-      Creativity, innovation and flair.

-      Graphical skills and knowledge is preferred.

-      An eye for colour and a feel for fabrics and materials.

-      Good English Skill.
