Brief
· 5-10 years’ experience in communications, preferably a generalist with some brand and corporate background

What we are looking for:
Our team is looking for a Managing Director, to join our Vietnam office. The candidate should be someone who understands what it takes to deliver world-class communications work in a dynamic, emerging environment. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring we live up to our firm’s client promise of excellent quality and creativity of communications work, alongside top notch client service. We are looking for a PR professional who is a self-starter, ambitious, personable and competitive.
Job Description:
· Manage relationships with current clients and work to expand our relationships/network of potential clients by raising awareness of ERA in Vietnam
· Manage the execution team of managers and executives, helping organize for best client service possible and putting the right people at the right clients
· Coach the team who reports to you on best practices in communications, supervise their growth and development through on the job coaching and basic training
· Get ERA in the door at communications and marketing offices and build a pipeline of opportunities in Vietnam
· Lead the development of proposals for major client opportunities; coach and train your other directors or managers to deliver high quality proposals and ideas
· Work with ERA’s regional resources (digital experience, local directors/account leads, managing directors) to bring monitor process/workflow and quality of execution and add value
· Using our established formats or process to help ensure the teams understands how to budget for client projects and work with our finance team to ensure your clients are paying accordingly
· Oversee pipelines and current financial position to prioritize time and energy of your new business and client service efforts
· Interpret client briefs and feedback to help immediate team understand briefs and direction, support the team in auditing client satisfaction per our internal process
· Ensure ERA brand guidelines are followed by teams and in any external work produced
· Oversee and guide the work and team resourcing needs of accepted ideas
· Build an active, visible presence online for our work and develop regular thought leadership and case studies for digital channels; assist in developing submissions for top awards organizations
· Keep our case study master file, pipeline master file and credential files up-to-date
· Travel for work and client presentations occasionally will be required
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field.
· 5-10 year’s agency experience in a role covering strategic communications and public relations
· Presentation, sales and client relationship skills – personable and outgoing attitude
· Competency in ideating communications for the digital world
· Work within quick timelines, ability to work under pressure.
· Have excellent design and writing skill for client facing presentations
· Proficient in presentation software and have a working knowledge of PowerPoint
· Be a strong leader and business-minded counsel for clients
· Knowledge of content management systems, research tools, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM) and marketing trends and topics.
