[HCM] - SOURCING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

• Conduct new supplier research outside china region and develops strong personal relationships with key suppliers


• Perform research on b2b websites , attend international tradeshows


• Independently creates value for the company by securing business through competitive quotations and managing new development activities effectively


• Ability to perform cost analysis based on raw material prices


• To negotiate with makers for price with quality


• To be organized for filing for daily inquires, order files


• Can follow for the sample approval lead time carefully


• Adheres to correct business practices and company procedures • Actively pursues business development activities for the company

Work Experience Requirements 

• At least 3 years working experience in merchandising at trading company or buying office for sourcing home appliance products


• Strong knowledge of purchasing market and price level as well as target consumer sales market


• Familiar with Western markets 


• Expertise in project and/or strategic purchasing. 


• Experience in buying complete products, OEM and development 

Skill Requirements

• Comfortable in dealing with contacts from other countries


• Ability / willing to travel internationally (especially Southeast Asia )


• Strong ability to read, write and spoken in English 


• Good negotiation ability


• Aggressive / responsible / self-motivated team player & willing to work under pressure
