JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION PURPOSE:
soldering real- world business wicked challenges in the fast retail industry.
As an Automation Intern, you will have a chance to develop your practical knowledge in building up
automated tools in forecasting, as well as opportunities to apply knowledge in programming languages in
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Work closely with Business Analyst & Forecast Specialist to understand challenges of business relatedto Forecasting Demand, specifically in the fast retail industry.
Develop automated tool using programming languages (Python preferred) to generate periodicforecasts, used for Supply & Capacity Planning
REQUIREMENTS
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Technical Skills:
Programming Proficiency:
Strong understanding of Python programming language.
Familiarity with scikit- learn for machine learning tasks.
Experience with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib for data manipulationand visualization.
● Statistical Modeling:
Understanding of ARIMA and SARIMA models for forecasting.
Ability to implement and interpret ARIMA, SARIMA, and other time series models inPython using libraries like statsmodels.
Knowing time series analysis concepts like stationarity, seasonality, and trends.
● Data Analysis:
Ability to analyze time series data and identify patterns and trends.
Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploration techniques.
● Version Control:
Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
Additional Skills:
Problem- solving:
Ability to identify and solve technical data analysis and modeling
challenges.
● Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
● Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously and ensure the accuracy of results.
