Head Of Engineering

lead the whole delivery team, including software engineers, product engineers, UI/UX specialists, quality engineers through a mix of development software and helps the team in achieving and surpassing departmental goals, provides technical guidance and direction, as well as hands- on resource and project management
Stay on top of trends and cutting- edge tech for the business while directly involved in the whole software development lifecycle
Play a leading role in the recruiting activities of the engineering department in order to ensure consistency in departmental efficiency; a mentorship role to key engineering personnel, assisting in their duties upon request, and constantly promoting the growth of their professional skills, readying them for the assumption of his duties in his absence or retirement.
Manage the day- to- day activities of and work closely with the engineering teams as well as the management and execution of project development against delivery commitments and project plans, in terms of software development, quality assurance, product consultant and data processing
Organize department’s staffing, resources, and mentoring, as well as manpower, tech resources, and skills development

Experience with deployment using at least one of these cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP. Strong background in linux Administration and open source
Familiar with full- stack technical skills, languages, frameworks, platforms and is eager to learn new things if necessary
At least 7 years of experience working as a senior software engineer or technical team leader, or solutions architect
Consumer and result- oriented, attention on details, creative and strategic thinker, work comfortably in a highly collaborative environment, and will work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment
Exceptional good communication skills in English, including both written and verbal skills, be able to clearly, concisely deliver the information to the teams and related stakeholders
Experience in agile development practices and architectural knowledge of full software development lifecycle
Strong experience working with at least one programming language, and be familiar with wide- range of technical stacks
Experience in the management of a IT team through cross- functional projects, with consistent project delivery in designing and developing complex, interactive software
