Head of Maintenance Department - Sun World Ha Long Complex

• Manage managers and team leaders directly on daily basis

• Manage engineers indirectly on daily basis

• Set department strategy and goals

• Report ride/slide downtime on monthly basis

• Analyze downtime on yearly basis and set up plan to fix repeating issues

• Write and manage daily, weekly, monthly and yearly checklists

• Create yearly maintenance schedule for the whole Complex

• Create monthly staff schedule for maintenance staff

• Work closely with PMU and other departments

• Set and manage maintenance budget

• Provide solutions to improve way of working within Sun World Holding

• Support to create a safety-conscious environment in the park

• Write and manage department SOP’S

• Provide training for maintenance staff

• Support during ride/slide failures when needed

• Work with international suppliers and manufacturers

• Work with TUV to set yearly safety inspections in the whole Complex

• Set and manage department hierarchy

• Be part of Sun World Holding safety team

• Work with other parks within Sun World Holding to solve ongoing issues and problems

• Follow company procedures and regulations

• Provide ideas for future purposes in Sun World Ha Long Complex

• Involve in buying new rides for Sun World Ha Long Complex

• Follow international news regarding themeparks/rides and accidents

• Follow daily work from maintenance department

• Implement IZZI software together with managers for maintenance department

• Follow international standards and manufacturer requirements

• Solve issues within the department itself and provide solid solutions

• Keep being updated with newest techniques and standards

• Create long-term maintenance plan

• Cost-saving mindset

• Manage maintenance secretary directly

• Follow purchase requests and their status

• Guard deadlines within maintenance department

• Work with insurance company for yearly audit

• Follow Vietnam laws and regulations

• Ensure safe operation of rides, cable car and slides

• At least 2-3 years of working experience as a maintenance manager. Experience with theme parks, waterpark is an advantage

• Excellent leadership and management skills

• Deep knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering. Reading drawings is a must.

• Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics is an advantage.

• Good skills with Microsoft Office and CAD

• Ability to draw strategy and develop plans to optimize department efficiency

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to write and speak in English

• Experience in budgeting and cost analyzing

• Good training skills

• Experience with standards (EN, ASTM, ISO)
