Aviva is looking for Distribution Compliance Manager to join our Compliance & Risk Management Department in Vietnam’s offices. As an integral member of Distribution Compliance team, you will be responsible for monitoring sales activities complied with regulations; detecting abnormal signals and recommending measures to prevent fraud on sale activities in the future; handling complaints related to sales activities and defining whether the agent in question has violated the laws, the terms of agency contracts, the ethic codes guidelines or the regulations of the Company; and giving advice on policies, procedures that must be in place to deliver compliance.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


  • Implement and maintain the appropriate and effective distribution compliance framework for the company which is in line with Aviva Compliance monitoring framework and Company’s business strategy.

  • Enhance distribution compliance permanent controls by implementing policies and procedures to mitigate distribution compliance risks.

  • Ensure the quality and the consistency of the distribution internal control system and distribution compliance system of the company.

  • Ensure key distribution compliance risks have been understood, identified and managed and/that, where concerns or doubts exist, are raised with line management.

  • To be responsible for ensuring the appropriated and effective compliance framework by developing, maintaining and proposing for revise policies, procedures, training program… in line with organizational objectives, prevailing internal business standard and applicable laws.

  • To be responsible for developing and controlling annual plan for distribution compliance function.

  • To be responsible for designing and delivering the distribution compliance training courses for distribution channels to ensure that appropriate agents, consultants are knowledgeable and aware compliance duty of regulatory requirements. (i.e. trainings on anti-money laundering, anti-corruption; Agency code of conduct).

  • To be responsible for maintaining & enhancing compliance behaviour and culture through effective communication, training, and dissemination of distribution compliance strategy, policy and processes.

  • To be responsible of receiving and settling complaints and denunciations related to sales force in fraud and incompliance.

  • To be responsible of problem solving on agency and consultants’ violation.

  • To establish the reporting mechanism and to escalate/report immediately issues to Head of Compliance & Risk Management.

  • To identify and adopt best practices from Aviva Regional Office, Aviva Group and local market.

  • To undertake other such duties as may be reasonably requested by Head of Compliance & Risk Management.

  • To be responsible for mentoring staff by guiding him/her to handle the work well-done and contributing for his/her long- term career development in the organization.

  • To be responsible for coaching staffs to ensure she/he has proper capabilities, skills and insights to perform at/above required levels independently thereafter.

  • To be responsible for consulting, correcting and resolving such conduct issues as unacceptable behaviour or poor performance in any specific situations by staffs.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • More than five-year relevant working experience, preferably in law enforcement/ compliance/ internal control;

  • Sound knowledge of insurance products, compliance processes and sales activity;

  • Has confidence and maturity to communicate and deal with agency leaders, management and regulators;

  • Has people management skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent results;

  • Strong learning agility to cope with fast pace working environment;

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS


  • University graduate in Law/Auditing/Investigation.

  • Good understanding in insurance industry and sales activity.

  • Judgement skills that contribute to the identification of control weaknesses and potential risks;

  • Investigation skill and logical thinking.

  • Excellent organizing and time management skills.

  • Strong leadership and effective communication.

  • Strong verbal and written communication (Vietnamese and English).
