Job Purposes:
Working with Prudential as HR Governance and Risks Management Senior Specialist means becoming a part of a prestigious global financial services group and an exciting vision: to be the leader in helping customers achieve their long-term financial goals. You will be the champion to design and lead QA check to ensure compliance with internal/external policies and regulation; lead to close actions from GwIA, QA, Inspections of Authorities, External Auditors as well as strengthen HR team awareness about governance/ risk management.
Responsibilities:
1. Risk Management
- Maintains and updates quarterly department risk register (DRR).
- Facilitates the Risk Management team in identification of Incidents within the function.
- Involves and supports on capturing and declaration for the internal control deficiency in the Turnbull certification process bi-annually.
- Build framework & conduct QA on critical aspects & propose remedy actions as well as be in charge of Regulatory Compliance Matrix (RCM)
- Supports the functional head in root cause assessments and effective closure of actions for incident.
- Monitors and reviews on the completeness and robustness of risk information from the indicators and coordinate with Risk Management function to develop and strengthen the risk indicators.
- Liaises and seeks assistance from the PVA Risk function where necessary, attend the risk management training provided by Risk function and take a key role to promote the Risk Culture, Group Risk Management Framework in the organization.
2. HR Governance Management
- Update new Corporate Governance Manual (CGM) for management if any
- Take lead to close actions from GwIA, QA, Inspections of authorities
- Take lead to update the HR Operation Mananual annually
- Provide training & guidance on Risk management & Governance
- Proactively update the new changes in Regulation and ensure HR relevant teamsare well communicated/trained about new changes.
- Conduct Half Year HR Operation Quality Assessment and report those findings with action plan for risk migration.
3. Any other tasks assigned

- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality
- Fluent English communication
- Be able to work under high pressure & tight deadline
- Good analytical skills
- Willing to learn new things & self-motivated
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Having HR knowledge or experience in HR Operation Assurance or Internal Audit is added value
