Purpose
Lead and coordinate all activities related to the Environment and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management system. Act as the Management Representative for HSE matters, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and effective implementation of the company’s Environment and OHS procedures.

Responsibility Overview
The HSE Manager is responsible for achieving safety, environmental, quality, and efficiency objectives. This role promotes safety awareness, enforces compliance, provides training, and ensures the correct implementation of internal and external safety requirements. A strong understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local regulations is essential.
Duties
HSE Management System
• Promote HSE communication and awareness across the organization.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and propose mitigation measures.
• Monitor compliance with all applicable HSE regulations and internal requirements.
• Deliver HSE training for employees, contractors, and emergency teams.
• Plan and execute internal audits following the PDCA cycle; verify corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans; ensure readiness of firefighting teams.
• Maintain documentation, records, and prepare needed reports for management and authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives in HSE systems.
• Develop and track HSE KPIs.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage and evaluate contractor/supplier compliance (food safety, transport, pest control, construction, etc.).
• Manage HSE budgets and resource allocation.
• Develop, update, and implement HSE procedures aligned with laws and corporate standards.
External Audit
• Represent the organization in external HSE audits.
• Ensure full readiness, correct non- conformities, and coordinate actions across departments.
Reporting
• Monitor progress toward HSE targets and report to senior management.
• Prepare management review materials in alignment with the IMS Manager.
Other Duties
• Ensure substitution plans during absence.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the IMS Manager.
