We are looking for a talented & motivated Individual to lead, develop and oversee the HR operations of a new luxury boutique resort. The position will overlook all HR aspects of the hotel operation including, but not limited to recruitment, C&B strategy, set up of HR policies and software in line with group policies. The position will be initially based in Ho Chi Minh and then relocate to Phu Yen in line with project progress.
GENERAL MISSION
Develop & implement all personnel policies & procedures in line with the need of Bai San Ho (Zannier Hotels) and all relevant legal requirements.
Ensure employees are happy, safe and secure at workplace.
Develop hotel’s policies and procedures.
Human Resources Manager oversees personnel & training and may perform additional tasks as outlined below
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS
To provide courteous and professional service and to maintain good working relationship with all colleagues throughout the hotel.
To develop and ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene & Grooming, Health & Safety.
To ensure that the Department’s manning is developed and once operational not over and salary rank under controlled strictly.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITES
Develop & implement all human resources policies relating to recruitment, promotions, transfers, personnel administration, industrial and employee relations.
Responsible for the establishment and function of training department.
Monitor salary and wage administration including the conducting of salary surveys on a regular basis to determine position in the market place.
Develop and complete monthly payroll statement.
Develop & administer Employee Opinion Survey, Staff Canteen Survey and assist in addressing issue/concern highlighted.
Ensure job descriptions and person specifications are developed and updated on a regular basis for all positions.
Responsible for ensuring employee recognition systems and award are in place.
Ensure annual/ monthly training plans are in place as per property requirements.
Assist in career development planning in conjunction with relevant heads of department
Preparation of budget information of employee relation, training and all salary and wage requirement.
Monitor employee compensation and benefits.
Encourage and support all the training programs.
Attend the morning briefing and operation meeting.
Prepare and process monthly Payroll report to Finance.
Prepare and sending monthly HR and Training report to GM.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and deliver training programs as and when required and assist all Managers in training requirements for their department.
Knowledge of benefits available locally.
In depth knowledge of Vietnamese labour law.
Conduct pre-screening interviews to ensure that the best candidate for Head Department.
HUMAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Counsel employees in career prospects, personal issues, job related issue, etc.
Handle all issues happened to employee against to the Law and Internal Policies, including accidents, sickness.
RELATIONS
Advise Executive Committee and General Manager on human resources issues including employee and government relations matters.
Establish and maintain various contacts with local organization, hotel schools, government office, and labor officers.
Ensure orientation and induction of new employees occurs prior to the actual commencement of work
Conduct various employee activities including ‘all employee meeting” on a regular basis, soccer team, protecting environment, community service, birthday and annual employee’s party etc.
