IFRS Advisory Manager (Open for expats and foreigners)

Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a reputable advisory firm. Our client is seeking an IFRS Advisory Manager. The role is open for all nationalities and based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Job Summary:

The IFRS Advisory Manager is responsible for heading up our IFRS-related projects, including IFRS implementation, conversion, integration M&A transactions and management purpose, and training for both internal team and client side.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop/design advisory approach, deliverables for implementation/conversion and strategy to align with regional practices

• Work with both internal/external stakeholders to develop advisory solutions; lead and coach a team of senior consultants

• Ensure the delivery of high quality work, including supervising the approach engagements, managing budgets/timelines, and reviewing the final piece of work

• Support senior management with proposal drafting and go-to-market activities such as presentation/training

• Engage in business development to develop the advisory pipeline

• 5+ years of relevant experience in audit and advisory, preferably with IFRS adoption/convergence

• Proven track record in IFRS implementation projects as a managerial role

• Demonstrated abilities managing multiple analysts across different pieces of work as well as client relationships to deliver multiple assignment in parallel

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Availability to travel on short notice
