Implementation consultant for APM

Job Role: Implementation consultant for APM (AppDynamics) – (open to candidates for upskilling/reskilling)
Job Description: The AppDynamics Application Monitoring Specialist will help deploy AppDynamics on a diverse set of applications. Support in requirements gathering, configuration, and troubleshooting. Successful candidate will have a customer centric approach to deliver the best application monitoring solution possible.
Upskill/Reskill: Open to candidates with infrastructure monitoring, tools deployment or system admins with Linux / Windows willing to upskill on APM.
YOUR MISSION:

Support to troubleshoot core software platform and infrastructure components.
Administering AppDynamics Apps to include developing new or extending existing Apps to perform specialized functionality.
Support the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of configurations to ensure proper monitoring.
Interface with customer teams to integrate with APM tool to achieve maximum visibility.
Develop processes to proactively monitor and alert for critical incidents.
Perform complete AppDynamics environment installs, configure transactions and create dashboards.

Help application teams in on-boarding applications and creating dashboards/alerts/reports.
Creativity and accuracy.
Proficiency in client and server operating systems including Windows & Linux.
Good communication in English is a must.
2+ years of overall experience.
Should have a strong knowledge of AppDynamics architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Some experience implementing and supporting APM tools.

Good to have:

Exposure to other APM tools (ELK, Dynatrace, New Relic, Nagios, etc).
Exposure to Java/J2EE, .Net applications, Bash scripting, PowerShell, Python.
Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
Cloud application monitoring on AWS, Azure.
Automation experience with Ansible, or Chef.
AppDynamics Certification.
