Instrument Maintenance Technician (Jd-0719-020)

JOB SUMMARY
•Support Senior Laboratory Manager in developing instrument preventive maintenance contracts and tracking/facilitating the instrument preventive maintenance contracts.
•Support Senior lab manager in the technical management of laboratory instruments. This includes liaison with maintenance company, support in bi-annual maintenance and maintaining documentation of laboratory equipment.
•Support Assistant Laboratory Manager in installation, maintenance, operation and monitoring of OUCRU cold chain system. This is including but not limited to monitor Labguard software, defrost freezer/fridge, develop a maintenance plan, organize instrument file, index, update, store and achieve all laboratory freezer/fridge documents and records.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Planning and work with the maintenance company to maintain the proper function of the instrument
-Doing back up for fridge/freezer

LOCATION
This post is based in Ho Chi Minh City, with some travel required.
HOURS OF WORK
37.5 hours per week, extra hours may be required.
TENURE
Initially for 1 year, including a 2 month probation period, with the possibility of extension.

Head of Laboratories and/or Lab Assistant Manager
