Integration Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled developers to join our team. The successful candidates will play a key role in integrating our payment platform into various e- commerce and non- e- commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento / Adobe Commerce, Wix, BigCommerce, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and the specific demands of e- commerce systems. You will work closely with our development team, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our payment solutions.
Responsibilities

API Management: Design, implement, and manage APIs to facilitate communication between our payment platform and various third- party services.
Optimize for Performance: Ensure integrations are optimized for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with Cross- Functional Teams: Work closely with front- end developers, product managers, and external partners to integrate our solution with third party platforms and ensure seamless platform interoperability.
Develop and Implement Integration Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions to connect our payment platform with third party platforms.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for integrations, including technical specifications and user guides.
Other Tasks as Assigned: Perform additional tasks related to the integration and development as assigned by the leadership team.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, contribute to team learning, and stay updated on emerging technologies to improve integration processes and performance.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve integration issues and provide technical support for escalated issues.

Front- End Understanding: Knowledge of front- end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
E- commerce Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Magento / Adobe Cloud, Wix, BigCommerce, and others including their APIs and integration points.
Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
Educational Background: Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in PHP, with experience in web frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony.
Database Proficiency: Experience with MySQL and database design/optimization, with knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
API Expertise: Strong experience in RESTful API design, development, and integration, particularly in the context of e- commerce platforms.

Preferred Skills:

Cloud Services Experience: Experience with cloud platforms.
Javascript Frameworks: Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS or Vue.js.
Additional Programming Languages: Proficiency in additional languages like Go, Python, JavaScript, or Node.js is a plus.
Testing: Experience with Test- Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing in PHP.
Payment Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the payment processing industry, including compliance, security standards (PCI- DSS), and payment gateways.
Containerization: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
