Interior Design Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
· Coordinate with the interior design consultants for the incorporation of required program in the interior design
· Assist Head of Hospitality Design in the development of interior design scope for the interior design consultants selection and appointment process
· Conduct site and factory visits with the Interior Design Consultants to ensure implementation and compliance with approved design intent and direction
· Assist in the management of the interior design consultants and the interior design process to ensure design excellence and quality, and that deliverables meet company standards and project briefs
· Conduct regular site walk through and resolve design issues arise during construction
· Assist in the review and comment on material samples and mood boards
· Assist in the management of project FF&E costs and schedule
· Assist on required in-house design studies
· Assist in the review of contractors&039; submissions
· Assist in monitoring quality of off and on-site fabrication from design perspective
· Assist in the review of interior designer&039;s milestone submissions on quality and adherence of Design Briefs and coordinate with the operators
· Work closely with the appointed consultants during all stages of projects to ensure practical, effective and durable designs at indicated budgets interfacing with internal and external Operations Management to ensure timely incorporation of operational requirements within the project design
· Assist in monitoring and reporting of the progress of interior design work on projects
· Design and manage in-house projects as directed by Head of Hospitality Design

· Minimum 4 years experienced with same position/responsibilities handling projects from concept to completion, in Vietnam or other countries.
· Knowledge in sketch up/photoshop/indesign/autocad/revit is an advantage. Landscape design experienced also advantage.
· Foreigner or local is welcome to apply.
· Sound knowledge in design trends and building design materials
· Must be able to speak and write in English/Vietnamese to be able to communicate both to foreign and local consultants/contractors.
· Experience and knowledge of: All aspects of Hospitality Interior Design, including space planning, FF&E, materials; Typical building regulations as relates to interior construction; Interior Design processes, including current consultants&039; practices, typical scope and abilities; Design Team Structures, including combinations of Concept and Executive Designers
· An eye for design, including color, and good 3D awareness
· Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
· Good organization and communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Degree in Architecture/Interior Design graduate from reputable school.
