Interpreter - English

C.Key duties and responsibilities:
1.Translation/ interpretation
-Translate for speech therapist service
-Translate between doctor and patients and vice versa
oTranslate what patients said about her/ his disease
oTranslate all information about the diagnosis/ treatment given by doctor
-Interpreter all information (Admission procedure, insurance, pre- op, discharge, re-consultation, medication…) provided by FVH staffs to patients
-Translate all notice or information when required
-Translate medical documents (medical report/certificate, results, patient education materials, procedures…) when needed
2.Phone duty
-Responsible for handling a duty phone
-Responsible for interpreting between FVH staffs and patients when needed (especially during the night and the weekend)
3.Others task
-Report
-Make weekly report of translating and interpreting activities
-Undertake other tasks as may be required from time to time by Patient Services Manager
-Work with Marketing department to check the brochures, advertisements, which were translated into English language
