Investigative Assistant/ Project Officer (LE5)

The Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a suitably qualified applicant for non-ongoing Locally Engaged Staff (LE5) position within its Australian Federal Police Section.
The successful applicant provides project management and high-level administrative support to AFP programs and training in Vietnam. As a Designated Security Assessed Position, this role is only open to Australian nationals who
either currently hold or can obtain an Australian Government National Security Clearance. Citizens of Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or United States of America may also be able to obtain an Australian Security Clearance.

Applicants should have demonstrated ability to speak, read, write and understand fluent English with technical accuracy, demonstrated project management skills, with highly developed computing skills. Background in law enforcement is highly desirable but not essential. Knowledge of AFP governance and PROMIS is also desirable but not essential. An ability to speak, write, read and understand Vietnamese is desirable, but also not essential.
The successful applicant will be offered an initial one (1) year non-ongoing employment contract with the option to renew the contract for another 12 months. The full-time monthly gross salary rates are:
* Base Salary range: VND 35,957,214 to VND 40,470,161
* Pro-rated Tet Bonus: VND 2,996,435 to VND 3,372,514
