Purpose of the job:
This job role contributes to Starbucks success by performing senior professional level business systems analysis and project management activities which include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining regional-wide business applications. To work closely with the business to identify future systems development, including leading and conducting detailed analysis and defining service improvements.
Job Description:
This position oversees assigned application and systems development projects of moderate to high complexity, assembling the project team, assigning responsibilities, managing schedules, resources to ensure timely completion of assigned projects and providing quality BU support. This will include working directly with third party vendors to manage external and remote development / support resources, managing their service delivery and deliverables. Travel to each site will be required (SEA Countries).
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Translate requirement from business unit to applications, compatibility with existing infrastructure
• Train and support the system users, as well as ascertaining their needs and keeping their knowledge up to date
• To partner with support team members to effectively delivery change requests and the transition of post go live support activities; provides escalated support assistance as required
• To prepare requirement specification and interact with system architects and developers, 3rd party vendor to ensure the project/system is properly implemented.
• To liaise with other business unit to obtain timely support/advice for the applications
• Manage the release process for applications, including change management, end user communication and application testing.
• Manage delivery and SLAs by defined incident resolutions
• To develop and execute plans for testing and training of the new application / feature
• Assessing business requirements to provide support and proactive change services, including the analysis of development or improvement opportunities
• Implement and develop the Microsoft platform, ERP system, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and other business relevant applications. The role combines management with in-depth / hands-on technical expertise and project management.
