JOB SUMMARY
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and retirement of the computer and network infrastructure for the OUCRU programme. The services under the responsibility of the Infrastructure Manager are typically the underpinning (or supporting) services, or infrastructure, that enable the delivery of the programme’s IT application and support services.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains and constantly improves server and network performance, reliability and security in line with BS 7799/ISO 27001 and best practice.
- Manage the staff and equipment that handles the core network systems including LAN and WAN, WIFI, VPN, switching, routing, load balancing, AP routers and firewalls.
- Execution of DR tests as planned and agreed.
- Develop and constantly improves the information security awareness training to assure all staff, especially new comers, to be updated and familiars with new security threats as well as protection measures.
- Responsible for planning, deploying and managing the Server Room including physical servers, backup devices, electricity and Data Center facilities.
- Responsible for planning, deploying and managing the high performance computing clusters in both open-source OpenStack cluster and Microsoft-based Storage Space Direct.
- Participate in IT strategy planning activities.
- Direct involvement in incidents or problems (irrespective of priority) that cause service impact and acts as escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner.
- Provides leadership and oversight the planning, deploying and managing infrastructure at other programme Units in Ha Noi, Indonesia, Nepal and other collaboration sites if any.
- Provides technical support and guidance to Service Desk staff related to network infrastructure and security.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for areas of computer and network infrastructure and information security to assure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance; assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provides leadership and supervision to the IT Infrastructure and security members, ensuring that appropriate skilled resources are in place to meet required service levels.
- Develop requirements, outlines, budgets, and schedules for computer infrastructure projects.

HOURS OF WORK
Full-time (37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday)
TENURE
Initial for 1 year, include of 2-month probation with possibility for extension.
