IT Manager

Be responsible for guaranteeing that all databases and information systems within the Resort are performing at optimum efficiency levels.
Ensure all resort database is backed up periodically.
Review passwords on a periodical basis to ensure data security and delete or change passwords as necessary.
Ensure all operating procedures are properly implemented within your department.
Report to BODs any special projects required to enhance the reporting requirements in the Hotel.
Maintain current licenses related to IT.
Review and modify operating manuals within your department as required.
Provide ongoing communication to all areas within your division regarding policies, programs, and procedures.
Maintain a schedule of periodic audits of Resort computers to check for unauthorized use or unapproved software.
Coordinate and review all hardware and software systems to ensure they have the proper maintenance contracts with the proper parties, schedules of maintenance are adhered to and the systems are working well after maintenance.
Assist the Finance department in the preparation of computer hardware and software budgets and propose any plans for upgrades and improvements as required.
Develop the annual budget and target for areas under your supervision.

Work closely with Director of Finance to fully utilize the computer systems.
Be responsible for ensuring that physical support systems are maintained inadequately secured environments and that all files are safe and protected at all times.
Maintain the inventory of Computer Hardware and its specification.
Ensure that all hardware and software systems in Salinda Resort are performing well at all times and take immediate action in case of system breakdown.
Ensure the operation is equipped with adequate hardware and software, in order to obtain efficiency in workflow.
Develop and oversee all functions of the IT Department.
Implement PMS (Opera) system for Salinda Resort

Good understanding of a good central reservation system.
Continuously find a way to improve the implementation.
Good knowledge & management in Opera, PMS, Micros POS, PBX, Back office, and TV systems.
Good coordination with users to meet satisfaction.
Anticipate and proactively make recommendations to any potential problems with respect to the day-to-day operations.
Recommend any potential improvements that will be of benefit to the Resort.
