Cai Mep International Terminal is looking for an IT Service Desk who is actively participate in the IT implementation of the terminal; accountable for first level end user support based on Service Desk plus system; maintain and follow up incident support according to procedures, guidelines; plan, monitor and administrate the day to day systems operations, network and telephone operations of the terminal in a complex infrastructural environment.
Tasks:
The IT Service Desk will report to the Head of IT within the IT Department and based at the terminal located at Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province (Cai Mep). This position will be responsible for:
•First level end user support, collect information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error, for simple problems. More complex problems are referred to supervision.
•Answers, evaluates and prioritizes incoming telephone, e-mail and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other IT-related technologies.
•Installs and tests software & hardware upgrades
•Assists users in understanding various options and applications within MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
•Patriciate to install, configure and troubleshooting the, VMT, Radio for terminal operation. Basic level support WIFI terminal related issues.
•Standby and assist in maintaining the availability of Terminal IT equipment such as VMT, Radio, WIFI when lacking resource
•Answers inquiries regarding status on resolving a computer problem.
•Configures, installs and maintains local area network hardware, software in basic such as server, switches printers, telephone devices and Internet access services.
•Installs, modifies and makes repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance and training to system users.
•Assists with network security, selecting passwords, setting security parameters, and installing anti-virus and other security software in alignment with CMIT security policy.
•Guide users in the procedures for applying an application within the software, instructing them where to find a particular application.
•Prepares system reports as needed.
•Maintains helpdesk filing system, and handles the purchase requisitions for the department.
•Maintains IT inventory

•The position has the responsibility to read, acknowledge understanding, stay updated and set good example of compliance with the company’s policies stipulated in various regulations, guides and manuals including but not limited to the Staff Manual, IT Guide, HSSE Manual, Letter of Authority, Anti-corruption policy etc.
