[Jd#0083] Machine Learning – OJT

Toshiba Software Development (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. (TSDV) is looking for motivated students who have strong background in related engineering fields & great passion in developing their career path in Machine Learning (ML) field.
Suitable candidates will have chances to join on-the-job training schema in a joined group formed up by TSDV & ML experts in top universities in Vietnam.
At TSDV’s ML group, we target to solve practical issues in Toshiba manufacturing and business by applying machine learning/ deep learning/ data analytics/ optimization techniques.

Targeted Candidates
•Third year or later students in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
•Can spare at least 20 hours/week to work at TSDV.
Specific Knowledge/Skill Requirements
•Required:
-Have true passion & motivation in Machine Learning related fields.
-Strong analytical skills/mindset
-Solid background at Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics, Signal Processing
-Familiar with one of programming languages: Python (most preferred), C++, Java
-Active, good team player, good sense of responsibility
•Advantage if have:
-Basic knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, data analytics, optimization
-Basic experience of DL frameworks (Keras/TensorFlow, Pytorch), Python libraries (scikit-learn, numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib)
-Familiar with Linux OS.
-Good at English (especially reading, listening, writing skills); knowing Japanese is a plus

•Foundation training period: comprehensive training course in ~3 months in Machine Learning by our experts.
-The selected candidate will get monthly allowance during this training time.
•On-the-job training period (until graduation): Working in team with senior ML engineers/experts in practical projects.
-The selected will get part-time payment (up to 10 million VND per month) during this on-the-job training time.
•Good cases will get long-term labor contract with TSDV right after graduation.
