Knitting Process Engineer

Process Development

Follow up with production to build new designed process completely in compliance to LEAN concept.
Support Sourcing and QA for technical matters
Design guides, template or platform are adequately updated to reflect new methods or approaches from development or product/process transferred to support highest volume, lost cost and highest quality
Develop and maintain process optimization and validation programs.
Develop, verify, and validate products from process development to successful commercialization.
Responsible for liner knitting validation
Work closely with Production/ Maintenance / Automation Engineer to improve tool
Perform quality improvement First Pass Yield/Rolled ThroughPut Yield (FPY/RTY) initiatives on existing products
Manage development of new liners (knitted) and yarn as per requirement

Manufacturing Support

Supporting of deal with supplier due to technical issue
Support to all the change of process
Support to develop new document to adapt required production operations
Create the Standard Work and guide line for production

Others

Support special projects as required
Involve company activities such as Safety, Fire, Health, Team building, Audits…
Participate in process improvement projects to improve product quality, decrease cost, and - improve product performance.
Determine process capability for all developed processes
Design tooling, fixture

Education

Bachelor’s degree and above in Textile Engineering or Mechanical Engineer.

Job Experience

Experience in Textile/ Garments/ Glove Manufacturing is in advance
Minimum 3 years’ experiences in production management

Good Coaching, facilitation skills
Presentation and communication skills
Lean knowledge is required.
Interpersonal Skill
Planning and teamwork skills.
Strong Attention to details, Strong Problem-Solving Skills and investigation capabilities
Can implement and create an Improvement plan
Good English skill in both speaking & writing
Prefer certified 6 Sigma Green Belt
