Lab Technician (Savory Food)

Job summary: Responsible for overall analysis and laboratory work for business areas and support and service sales staffs in recommending the most suitable and correct grade of product to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists sales staff in recommending the most suitable products to customers.
Centralizes and updates all literature by discarding old and outdate literature and orders new relevant literature in adequate.
Supports sales staff in the introduction of new products and services including product testing and approval and maintains contact potential customers.
Makes customer visits and coordinates technical output with sales staff.
Conducts overall analysis and laboratory work.
Keeps himself/herself up-to-date knowledge of Organic & Inorganic Chemistry and acquires technical know-how relating to the job.
Keeps laboratory in good shape at all times and utilizes equipments and materials effectively.
Sets up and organizes effective reporting and documentation system for area of responsibility.
Keeps maximum efforts to maintain Safety Factors and notifies anyone entering the laboratory to observe the Safety Rules.
Supports sales staff in the introduction of new products and services including product testing and approval and maintains contact potential customers.
Arranges technical training for sales staff on basic knowledge and existing product advantage and weakness.

3-5 years in related field
25 years up
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemicals Science and/or Master’s Degree would be an advantage
Enthusiastic and service minded
Male/ Female
Ability to operate PC
Fluent in English (Verbal & written)
