Job Responsibilities
• Specifications, Take-offs, and Cost Estimation
• Make and track project schedules.
• Coordinate among project stakeholders.
• Control design direction and presentation strategy for projects.
• Material and Imagery Boards, Schematic Site Design, and Planting Plans
• Site survey; choose and use suitable materials in landscape design
• Working on landscape design strategy
• Responsible for the management and operation of the project
• Working on landscape project from concept design until construction stage and site supervisor.
• Understand client requirements and brief the team accordingly.
• Help resolve complex technical/design issues especially for Hospitality Project.
• Preparing Illustrative hand and/or computer presentation renderings.
• Analysis of environmental reports on soil conditions, such as drainage and energy use
Key Skills requested
• Proficiency in Adobe suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and Microsoft Office programs.
• AutoCAD, 3D and Sketch Up, Revit skills a plus
• Minimum 5 -7 years’ experience working with landscape architecture through all phases of design, especially for hospitality projects
• Analytical and open to finding and pursuing new solutions to complex problems
• Sound design and drawing skills
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent experience
• High proficiency in Lumion and/or Twin Motion, and/or other rendering software.
• A working knowledge of native plants in Vietnam
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget your time.
• Technical knowledge and experience in production of Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction documents, including site details, materials selection, grading, and planting
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction as well as independently
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication
• Clear understanding of the design process
Experience and Qualifications:
• 5-7+ years of experience as a landscape architect in development and detailed design phase in Vietnam or Asia
• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.
Languages
• Fluent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
