Laundry Supervisor (Giám Sát Giặt Là)

• Maintains a regular quality control inspection of section standards.
• Handles guest problems with dispatch and elevates matter to immediate superior when it can’t be resolved at his level.
• Ensures that Laundry SOPs are current, in effect and available for all employees to use as reference in collaboration with the immediate superior.
• Trains employees to become multi skilled in all sections of laundry.
• Ascertains that staff training, particularly in correct chemical handling, fabric care and lifting techniques are complete.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Hotel policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Ensures that any non-inventory item found in laundry are taken immediately to lost and found department in housekeeping.
• Undertakes regular forecast of manpower and expenses and maintains a cost effective roster system under the guidance of immediate superior.
• Conducts inventory in compliance with the hotel schedule and reports the same to the immediate superior for appropriate action.
• Suggests to immediate superior, programs to improve the efficiency of operation and service to guests and implements the same.
• Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
• Monitors the quality of processing, quantity and recording of hotel linens sent for outside laundry.
• Initiates measures to minimize wastage of chemicals.
• Regularly inspects machinery for signs of wear and tear, deterioration of hoses, belts, covers etc. Records and reports the same to Engineering department for appropriate action.

• At least 3 year experience in the different sections of laundry operation
•At least Vocational diploma in any field
• Can speak and understand English
• Knowledge of all types of cleaning equipment, wet and dry laundry processing and chemicals commonly use in laundry operation
• Computer literate, knows word and excel programs
