Legal Manager (Chinese or Korean Speaking)

Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a European solar renewables developer to drive its renewable energy business in potential emerging market. As the business is growing strongly, our client is seeking a Legal Manager (Korean or Chinese speaking) to support foundation and legal perspective for their projects and entities.

Job Summary:

Consulting the management of legal rights and obligations, anticipating legal risks of any activities as well as protecting the Company's interests and benefits while working on legal side of project implementation and preparation. When required, to represent, act for and advise the Company in any contractual claims and disputes, including preparing and reviewing all related legal documents and evidences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Advising company related business contracts, transactions, and other agreements in normal course of the business;

• Advising company claim ability & lawsuits or other proceedings, and legal rights and obligations of the company in respect of contractual claims or disputes.

• Preparing, drafting and review contracts & agreements, relevant legal documents, legal briefs and opinions, and other documents produced in daily operation.

• Negotiating and providing support in negotiation of the terms and conditions of contracts, procurements and other agreements, and settlements of disputes or claim.

• Interpreting relevant laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses

• Updating changes in or new regulations and alert to concerned divisions or functions.

• Performing other tasks as assigned from time to time in relation to the position.

• Law degree with Master degree is an advantage

• 3 - 7 years of experiences as a lawyer or legal advisor.

• Strong experiences in EPC contract and other commercial contracts and related sectors;

• Strong experiences in corporate matters, land acquisition, intellectual properties, labor and employment, compliance and dispute resolution;

• Experiences in M&A, cross-border transactions, project financing, arbitration and other methods of dispute resolution is advantage;

• Experiences in renewable energy is advantage;

• Practical and operational-oriented;

• Able to work both independently as a team member under high pressure environment;

• Good communication and presentation skills;

• Strong negotiation and organization skills;

• Strong project management skills;

• Fluent in English, both in writing and communicating;

• Fluent in Korean and/or Chinese, both in writing and communicating
