LOGISTICS AND INVENTORY TEAM LEAD

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance to OH&S and Environment policies of the company and any statutory requirements
Responsible for opening office on time and end of the day lock up
Ensure all customer issues are addressed on a timely manner and rectified
Ensure quality management and continuous improvement by reviewing the processes and suggest improvements.
Monitor the daily efficiency and report concerns to the immediate manager for the area
Provide full backup for Parts room
Day to day office management such as Stationary orders and all other supplies as required
Ensure compliance of the team with all work instructions and compliance of the products
Warehouse management and waste management
Liaise with the spare parts and repair team in relation to supply of spare parts inventory, where applicable
Managing Timesheets and Annual leave requests
Delivery of any extra responsibility allocated by the Operations Manager, Quality Manager or other member of the management team to the person recruited under this job title and covered in particular policy or work instruction
Manage Escalations related to Logistics operations
Daily reports as specified by the immediate supervisor
Attend scheduled meetings for the team and/or company
Plan daily line production and resources to reach the daily targets
Promote the company’s policies and culture
ther members of the team, and building mutually beneficial relationships
Promote a cohesive and harmonious team environment, through respect and dignity toward
Provide trade guidance and assistance as part of a teamwork
Manage all processes in Logistics room
Works under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment
handling to customers specifications and ESD requirements
Performs non-trade tasks incidental to his/her work
Provides training in conjunction with supervisors and trainers
Maintain all documents, tools and equipment of the company in a good order

Qualifications

2 years experience in the field
Graduate from College or University with Business Administration, Import - Export, Foreign Trade, International Trade,...or other related major and/or
Male or Female from 27 to 33 years old

Skills and experience:

Fluent in various software applications (eg. MS office: Word, excel, outlook, power point, etc)
Good understanding of Logistics and Office Administration
Strong organisational and previous team leading skills
Experience with shipping goods nationally and internationally
Good time management and JIT practices
Knowledge of Administration policies, system and procedures
Good Interpersonal skills and Leadership is essential
Ability to relate to staff and customers at all levels
Good communications skills
Demonstrated experience in production and quality system management
Strong relationship and team building
Multitasking and decision making are essential
