Logistics Manager

Company Profile:

Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a well-known worldwide chemical trading company. Our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years of experience logistics/supply chain, ideally in the pharmaceutical/food ingredients industry, for the job of Logistics Manager. The job is based in Hochiminh, Vietnam and reports directly to Country Manager.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for company Customer service, import/export and not limit to other function of Supply Chain such as warehouse, planning.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Activities includes sales contract review, invoicing, samples or other information services.

• Review and submit payments to suppliers, logistic service providers, tariffs on time

• Sales commission records, bill and follow up promptly

• HS codes update and get licensed

• Forecast, target volume for the shipment and inventory

• Contact suppliers/ customers for operation services

• Together with sales team to work on supplier & customer complaint solving.

• Doing the budget for operation to Country Manager and Regional Supply Chain.

Logistics:

• Handle import and export declaration of customs’ permit

• Liaise with all government regulatory bodies in ensuring the company complies with and is up to date on law and regulations, pertaining to the import, export and distribution.

• Work closely with sales team for inventory planning and ordering ensure proper stock availability to serve customer high satisfaction but efficiently.

• Work well with third party services on warehouse, transportation for smooth delivery

• Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers or sub-contractors (for example forwarders, transportation companies and so on) to minimize costs.

• At least 5-7 years’ experience customer service logistics/Supply Chain experience in similar industries

• Good knowledge and experience in Supply chain: logistics, import-export, inventory, planning, custom clearance, incoterm, regulatory

• Other skills: supportive, detail oriented, proactive, good analytical skills

• Good English skills, both writing and speaking
