Maintenance Engineer

Take responsibility for production machine maintenance creation and coordinate with others to meet Gentherm’s standard of safety, quality and department’s missions.

Position Title: Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities
• Establish the work schedule and monitor the daily performance of maintenance technicians.
• Play the key role in continuous improvement activities..
• Establish the preventive maintenance program for production machines & assembly lines. Implement the periodic maintenance
• Others as required from Manager.
• Take lead on 5S, Kaizen program.
• Participate on Lean & Six sigma.
• Promote and follow safety regulations.
• Play key role in cost saving program of production department.
PRIOR TO SHIFT START AND DURING SHIFT
• Attend to daily and quality production meeting to take support action accordingly.
• Record shift to shift logbook any issue.
• Review the tool shop logbook, maintenance logbook and follow up any issues from previous shift.
• Verify 5s status on the work area.
• Walk-through of work area to ensure all machine, system in good conditions and define the improvement areas.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years working experience in factory operation
Minimum 2 years working experience in Maintenance or equivelent functions
Competencies:
• Personality : Clear thinker, Innovative, Good communicator, Assertive, Drive, Responsible
• Must adopt a practical approach towards work
• Skills : Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Solid Work and other design software. Very good in MS software,
• High level of problem solving skills
• Must be methodical
Education:
Bachelor in electrical or mechanical
