Primary Job Functions:
Experience:

Proven experience using engineering tools for continuous improvement
7 years minimum of high volume manufacturing leadership/management experience required
3 years of manufacturing planning experience required

Education:

Bachelor Degree required (operations, technical, business, or science discipline preferred)

Required Skills/Competencies:

Knowledge and understanding of EHS systems and requirements
Excellent communication skills (email, group presentations, conference call and meeting leadership)
Excellent data handling/mining skills
Proven presentation skills including high level aptitude of MS Powerpoint and Excel
Strong analytical ability
Basic project/program management
Proven organizational, managerial and personal development skills
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
Business fluency in English and Vietnamese, spoken and written
Thorough understanding of general manufacturing shop floor processes and systems
Problem solving (Six-Sigma Green Belt Preferred)
Knowledge and understanding of quality systems and requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

MES Applications
Set action plans for supply commitments
Scrap station
Lead or participate on calls and meetings with Manufacturing Support teams within FS
Share best practices
Communicate on rollout of process or equipment changes
Sharepoint

Lead Site Manufacturing Control team as needed to ensure performance of the team.
Analyze and advise cost benefit opportunities
Team with Manufacturing Engineering and site Manufacturing Operations teams to prioritize and drive projects based on key metric impact
Support site manufacturing execution teams in meeting annual production metrics for module supply
Coordinate with Global MFG Control and Global Supply/Demand teams to ensure supply meets demand with maximum shipping capabilities
Ensures all site teams are aligned to the latest short term and long-term supply plan.
Responsible for maintaining alignment to Global Standards.
Data mine to support module process flow decisions
Glass handling, PPE and all general operations procedures
Perform cost analyses for decision making
Cost Analysis
Throughput Champion
Justifications for expense and capital purchases
Data mining and supply commit analysis as needed to make recommendations for line scheduling changes
Set action plans for continuous improvement
Operational System Contact
Maximize throughput, machine utilization and machine availability

Reporting Relationships:

This position may have up to 12 direct/indirect reports including other Site MFG Control associates

Travel:

Domestic and/or international travel up to 10% of time

Physical Requirements:

Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair)
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis
Will lift, push or pull up to 13Kg on a frequent basis
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to entire duration of a shift
Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
Will exert up to 23Kg of force to lift, push or pull on a seldom basis
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
