Manual QA (Software Tester) - HCMC/Remote

THE OPPORTUNITY
A platform for the sixth-largest transit agency in the United States, serving 358 million passengers annually. Our aim is to re-create the usage concept of the previous system - changing the fare medium from tokens to contactless fare cards, and replacing their current fare collection process with a new "smart" system known as New Payment Technology or “NPT,” which works seamlessly across the entire transportation network.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishing and maintaining the test and QA procedures on a project, assuring the product quality on a daily basis
Communication with the client on a regular basis
Product requirements analysis and validation
Taking part in continuous process improvement
Driving exploratory and scripted testing processes
Being a part of the Agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate the effort
Creating and managing test documentation like QA and test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports, test reports, etc.
Processing client feedback on product quality

Must have:

Understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
Experience in delivery process improvement
Understanding of SCRUM processes
Understanding of the way Web works - HTTP, AJAX, JSON and of the client-server architecture
Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English
Experience in establishing test process, organizing test reporting, and presenting results to the customer
Understanding of CI concepts, test environments schemes
Experience with a version control system (Git)
Experience in testing complex applications
Experience with requirements validation
3+ years of working experience in software quality assurance (WEB and Mobile)

Nice to have:

Computer science degree or similar
Knowledge of the Japanese language
Experience with testing responsive website
Experience doing performance and/or automated testing
Experience being a primary contact person for QA related matters
Experience with grey box testing using databases and backend apps
Knowledge of any programming language basics
