MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Basic Job Functions:
Assist in the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues, identify and/or implement system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield and product performance goals.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Execute planned process experiments, collect and analyze data and report experimental results.
• Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Ensure waste materials are discarded in their designated containers
• Interface with internal associates and supplier representatives, as required, to complete assigned projects.
• Ensure all processes are running on target as defined by the Process Control Plan.
• Provide training to production associates.
• Ensure satellite accumulation containers stay in their designated locations.
• Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements. Develop methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
• Develop a complete understanding of engineering processes, equipment, and support systems.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
• Set up and maintain gauges
• Ensure hazardous waste containers stay closed except when adding or removing waste
• Disposition non-conforming product according to established criteria (NCP).
• Develop a complete understanding of area processes, equipment, and support systems.
• Develop and update internal documentation including drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications.
• Provide training to production associates.
• Collect data relating to daily tool performance and associated product performance.
• Respond to SPC process control alarms, bringing processes back into control
• Maintain effective communication with production associates and manufacturing engineers.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Basic Job Functions:
Performs, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds, in a timely and cost efficient manner. This includes trouble shoot and repair of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Follows standard OSHA, EPA and Company safe practices on all work assignments.
• Able to fill in the position of Technical Specialist whenever required and delegate task accordingly.
• Responsible to manage waste generated from any work that is performed.
• Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
• May be asked to train other employees.
• Performs the on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Must be able to read electrical & mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Must meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals details during trouble shooting/repairing of manufacturing equipment
• Interfaces with other departments.
• This includes but is not limited to:
- Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures, good housekeeping standards, and the wearing of PPE.
- Remove hazardous waste HEPA filters / pre filters and put in proper bags and clean up the area after work is done.
- Move full waste drums back to WWT and make sure drum is properly labeled and dated. Drum cannot be over 882 lbs. Work with WWT Associates and/or EHS to make sure the drum is properly labeled.
- Notify EHS Department if there are questions or concerns with the management of hazardous waste.
- Transport the hazardous waste HEPA filters / pre filters with proper bags to WWT. Contact WWT Associates when dropping off the filters.
