MEP Quantity Survey (QS) Engineer

Role Responsibilities & Activities:
- Assist to take off quantity, prepare bill of quantities and cost estimation.
- To build-up unit rates for estimating purposes.
- To request quotations from suppliers.
- To search material sources / adequate design for potential project
- To check on changes and variations of design to assess the effects on bills of quantity and project cost during implementation.
- To follow up and update material prices trend on market.
- To do cost analysis record of project/ summary of project quantities.
- To be able to do Value Engineering (VE)
- To improve and manage the cost database and other operation databases
- To attend project meetings and discuss with clients / contractors
- To attend Tender interviews/Tender assessment report of Tenderer submission
