This role provides solutions for products/ delivery/ purchase order (and alternatives) to client requests through various supply chain operations:
Manage supplier, product and quoting database within Vietnam, China, South East Asia.
Sourcing
- Travel to suppliers, other parties, events, training courses and exhibits
- Source new suppliers who meet the company&039;s quality standards for the product range of TPF
- Be a contact point for TPF Group regarding cost, product development, production, and delivery both internally and externally
- Conduct a comparative price and service; review and evaluate the performance of the suppliers
- Guide suppliers to meet our standard of a product & working culture
- Build and encourage strong relationships with suppliers, and partners to gain competitive rates for products/materials, ensure long-term support and maximize profitability
Purchasing & Merchandising
- Give advice, recommendations and solutions on the feasibility and possibility of the request
- Compose, manage, and record all documentation relating to order including but not limited to Contract, delivery note, invoice, quotation…
- Work with/ alongside Logistics Team
- Work with Warehouse/Supplier on product quantity/ quality after delivery
- Raise purchase order and follow up the order to make sure that suppliers are striving to ensure providing products meeting the required quality and delivery dates
- Investigate defects/ problems to find the Root Cause and advise the factory on problem-solving
- Conduct small testing on products when needed (basic garment/ product testing)
- Deploy with the supplier on the detail (packing guidelines, specifications…) of each project to meet Client requirements; Provide technique solutions to meet quality standards, for both clients and the factory
- Perform debt comparison, arrange and follow up payment accordingly with Finance
- Keep all relavant parties up to date on the progress & timing of the order
- Comply with loss prevention standards and basic QC requirements
Product Development
- Other assigned taskes
- Co-operate with other departments/ suppliers to improve/ innovate current products
- Develop product catalogue according to sales demand (focus on garment products including apparel, bags, headwear, etc...).
