Join us in this exciting role as a Mid/Senior Fullstack Engineer (Typescript/Javascript) in our Ho Chi Minh City office in District 10. You will work in a feature team for our Swiss real estate platforms serving 2M monthly users.
Our tech stack

Our codebase and services are documented using Backstage.
Our backend is written in Node.js and Typescript, following a serverless and microservices architecture in a cloud- based environment using AWS. Our main services leverage Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and S3, among others.
Our monitoring is done mainly through Datadog and Sentry.
Our front end is implemented with Vue.js / React, with Typescript as the language of choice. It consists of a mix of client- side, server- side, pre- rendered, and hybrid web apps.

What you will do

Provide input for our product, and understand and follow our team process.
Contribute to reducing our tech debts.
Proactively support and pair with other team members.
Become efficient in our tech stacks.
Share your knowledge, document, and support technical discussions.
Maintain and improve our tests and monitors.
Bring value to our users by delivering new features or improving current ones.
Gives timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers.

Here are some requirements for the role:

You have NodeJS experience- you know how to build, deploy, and maintain a service.
You have solid TypeScript/JavaScript experience (VueJS/ReactJS, optionally Angular).
You have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for what the team builds.
You make friends but are not afraid of speaking your mind.
You have 3+ years of software engineering experience.
You have excellent English communication skills.
You have a strong learning attitude, are open, keep your bias in check, and have a strong bias for action.
You drive to improve team processes, alerts, and monitors and challenge the status quo.

It’ll be nice if you also have:

You have a good understanding of databases, message brokers, queuing systems and caching.
You have experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud provider.
You have a good understanding of system architecture and micro- services.
