Direct Report: Senior Game Designer
Job Purpose
We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our team and help ensure that our games are of the highest quality and free of technical and functional issues before they are released to the public. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough game testing and identifying and reporting any bugs, technical issues, or defects to the development team.
Responsibilities
•Identify the requirements, game design intention, scope of the project, and assignment scope.
•Conduct thorough game testing to identify and report bugs, technical issues, and other defects. This involves playing the game, exploring its features and functionality, and checking for consistency, usability, and performance.
•Document and report any issues found during testing, including steps taken to reproduce the issue, expected and actual results, and any additional relevant information.
•Work closely with the game development team to provide feedback, prioritize issues, and resolve all bugs before the game is released.
•Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of test cases to ensure that all aspects of the game are thoroughly tested.
•Ensure that previously reported and resolved issues have not reoccurred in subsequent builds of the game.
•Engage in unscripted testing to uncover issues that might not have been found through traditional testing methods.
•Evaluate the game's user experience to ensure that it is intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable for players.
•Participate in preparation for the game's release, including final testing and review, to ensure it is ready for public launch.
