Mobile Software Engineer (Android) – Developer Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidates shall play a key role in this team by demonstrating:

• Design, review, write, and test code – this is a hands-on engineering role, and you will be directly involved in the design and development of new features.
• Manage the development and deployment processes – make sure that the features are shipped optimally, and product stays healthy once they hit production.

• Willing to work in a dynamic environment going beyond personal comfort zone.

Candidate is required to complete a test before being screened for the interview.
• Consolidated knowledge of Android application development in Kotlin language, in accordance with Clean Architecture guidelines, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and related Design Patterns, in particular MVVM
• Working knowledge of Software IDEs, in particular Android Studio
• Working experience with GIT and tracking systems like Jira
• Working knowledge of Internet Secure Communications (OWASP guidelines, including, REST APIs, HTTPS, Certificates, …)
• Knowledge of one or more of the following subjects will be considered:
Testing: Unit Testing, Expresso 2.0; and/or,
JetPack Compose; and/or,
Continuous integration environments such as Jenkins, Bitbucket or others.
Dependency Injection; and/or,
• Fluent written and spoken English, possibly German and/or French
