Modem Software Engineer

• Provide technical support to Qualcomm local OEMs and telecom operators in Vietnam and APAC region • Elaborate good knowledge of QCT modem software / solution, provide training of QCT products to Smartphone OEM developers • Play consult and expert role, troubleshooting, identify/debug/resolve Modem issues reported by customers, which are related to Multimode and NAS functionalities • Guide/explain to customer about SW design, porting and integration of Modem protocols focusing on Android OS • Closely work with development team to narrow down the root cause and fix the issue for customers.

* Basic Qualifications
• Good knowledge about common programming languages such as C++, Java
• Understand GSM/UMTS/LTE/5GNR system architecture
• 2-5 years of experience working with 3G/LTE/5GNR Modem SW architecture
• Advanced programming skills using different languages. Experience with code dependencies walkthrough and debugging using code browser tools like Source Insight, OpenGrok, etc. is a plus.
• Familiar to Software Management tools such as Perforce, Git
• Prior experience in Qualcomm MSM/SDM products, Qualcomm debugging tools is an advantage
• Strong knowledge about modem protocols and procedures, especially related to NAS (EMM/ESM/etc.) and Qualcomm’s Multimode (CM/PM/SD) are highly preferred

Bachelor or higher levels, major in Electronics Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science or relevant majors
