Motion Designer

The Motion Designer is responsible for managing motion graphics and video projects for use in a variety of product, marketing and event initiatives.

You will be helping to visualize our company voice and values through motion design. Your work will aid our narrative, guide our users, explain our products and promote the company’s abilities.

You will function within the Design Team while interfacing closely with marketing, product, and potentially our customer success and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop compelling video and assets.

This position will be based in our Vietnam office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend the in-motion brand for OPSWAT in collaboration with existing graphic branding and illustration styles
• Propose solutions/concepts with rough sketches, storyboards, or mood-boards
• Contribute to the creative direction of new product launches and planned marketing initiatives
• Design and edit video pieces that strongly communicate product goals and concepts
• Produce animated graphics (lower thirds, slates, tags, and bumpers, etc) for inclusion into webinars, testimonials and marketing videos
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure quality results
• Deliver high-quality assets in multiple formats depending on expected consumption
• Work with stake holders in different locations while managing complex projects
• Specific day-to-day activities will include creating and editing videos including materials from webinars, interviews, conference presentations, product demos that can be 5 seconds of motion for a webpage or 5 mins in-depth product demonstration or anything in between. Creation of animated 2- and 3-dimensional images would be a highly desired skill to enable complex technologies to be explained in simple ways. Additionally, the combining of video with animation is highly desired.
