New Product Process Engineer (Design for Manufacturing)

Sustain & improve main KPIs: Productivity improvement, UPD, LBE, Ergonomic score, Scrap.
Analyze failures to identify design, process, material and quality improvement opportunities
Provide assembly training for trainers
Coach and control job of IE technician.
Support NPI builds, Engineering, production and maintenance
Find ways to reduce waste and improve performance, maximize efficiency
Maturity and manufacturability improvements into new product designs from begin of NPI with primary focus on FAP and mechanics related aspects.
Responsible for PSPHW maintenance documentation and update.
PSPHW design verification and define spare part.
Composing and sharing L2L. Development of design guidelines and Preventive action plans.
Maximize PSPHW capability.
Develop, deploy final assembly method and PSPHW for assigned products from begin of NPI to end of product lifecycle in product portfolio.

Educational background: Requires a bachelor&039;s degree of mechanical engineering
Experiences:
• Design in 2D/3D
• LEAN manufacturing
• Min. 6 years’ experience from mechanic’s design and/or mechanics manufacturing engineering
• Experienced mechanic fabrication processes and design tools
Skills:
• Ability to understand, apply and implement concepts and lean tools for improvement.
• Demonstrate potential to design, analyze and implement industrial engineering techniques.
• Quality mindset for continues process improvement.
• Creativity and problem solving.
• Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.
