The role is to be the key contact point between the Operations labor provider and DB Schenker. The role will be onsite to monitor the performance of the labor provider to ensure all customer service levels are met in the most optimum efficient method.

The role is the Central point of contact for all operational topics related to Warehousing, customs operations, local transportation & billing at the Bonded facility. This role will co-ordinate all operations related commercial issues.

  • Handle all Customer facing communication and shipment related internal communication between/with DB Schenker stakeholders
  • To monitor, analysis and share the status of supplier’s shipment, warehouse activities to related stakeholders.
  • Define and align end to end customs handling process as well as the lead-times.
  • Prepare and update all PVMI mandatory Documents, such as Custom Playbook and Shipping Guideline
  • To provide advises related to country specific business, customs requirements, and operations.
  • Follows and update status of cargo from Port to Bonded Warehouse and delivering cargo to factory.
  • Provide Customers with proactive exception management in case of service quality deviations including follow-up and problem resolution
  • Provide and analyze operations data correctly to provide useful information for management for critical decision.
  • Be capable of using and interpreting data of both DBS WMS and customer’s system
  • Be able to train other colleagues on the SOP and communication methods
  • Co-ordinate with related teams to issue, update & monitor SOP’s between Schenker and Customer
  • Resolve customer service issues on-time with proper root cause analysis and corrective action plan.
  • Ensure flawless operation activity related to Supplier customer service activities
  • Communicate and settle with customer on warehouse issues and initiatives
  • Discuss and align operational KPI with the customers. Monitor, evaluate KPI of Operation teams and keep direct manager well-informed about any failure
  • Supervise and coordinate with Outsourced labor provider to manage the daily operation in assigned working areas
  • Instruct and supervise staffs to verify the required inbound/outbound paperwork to ensure that all products are properly counted/picked/packed/handed over.
  • Prepare labor forecasting and planning in alignment with customer and labor provider
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
  • Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
  • Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation & drive the culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and also assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety & compliance.
  • Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA an MSDS standards.
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely professional manner
  • Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Competent PC and software knowledge Especially of Microsoft.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work in a demanding and customer dynamic working environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Decision – Logical thinking. Understands operations SOP and can utilize this SOP to drive flawless operations execution.
  • Leadership – Plan, organize, lead control
  • Interpersonal and Good communication in Vietnamese and English
  • Customer focused – Willing to go the extra mile
  • Communication – Able to communicate at both operational level and management level

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree 
  • Good written & spoken English skills
  • Minimum 08 years of relevant working experience and 03 year of Supervisor/Leadership experience
  • Knowledge in Production control, Shipping, Custom and Warehouse operations management.
  • Experience and comfortable working with various key process owners

Note: A shuttle bus will be arranged by the company from Hanoi to Thuan Thanh – Bac Ninh and vice versa.
