As an Operations Project Manager (Product Operations Senior Principle Engineer), you will be responsible for represent manufacturing operations in platform core team and bridge the information for manufacturing readiness so as to launch new platform successfully.
When Dell Technologies launches new game-changing products into the global market, Product Operations Engineering has a vital role to play. The team coordinates all the operational activities that enable products to be introduced and sustained successfully. It’s about making sure there is consistency between production and test environments. It’s about ensuring hardware, software and networking changes are migrated into the production environment in a stable and controlled way. And it’s about creating build processes, coordinating product builds for release into production and setting up configuration specifications for releases.

You will work with Process Operations Engineering team on new platform launch process.
You will:
• Adapts communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal and external levels. Presents facts and information to negotiate mutually acceptable solutions and delegates clearly and comfortably and cultivates, develops and manages strong, lasting vendor relationships at senior management level.
• In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise. Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery, and contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise and works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations.
• Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent and work is guided by business plans for the discipline. Actively participates in setting area objectives to meet plans. Escalates matters of business risk, and influences others through their professional/technical expertise.
• Follow new platform launch process and frame work and engage with cross functional team to deliver Ops readiness with manufacturability verified and validated for new platform clean launch and manage critical projects, customer engagements or business processes. Guide completion of major projects or customer engagement, and work across the organization to effectively obtain and allocate resources to complete programs and projects on time.

Essential Requirements
• Can establish operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments, senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations(s) and may also have company-wide effect.
• Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (i.e., dept/peer review).
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as an understanding of company protocol. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements and understand industrial principal and quality tools including but not limit to project management, risk management, AQP, 5C/8D, Statistics & data analytics.
• Bachelors degree with at least 10+ years of operations/ project management experience in manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with failure analysis and good at problem solving with appropriate methodologies. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Desirable Requirements
• Knowledge and experience on automation/ digitalization is a plus
• Effective communication and presentation skills and fluent English writing and oral speaking
