PCB Design Engineer (Hardware Design)

- Communicate directly with customers for questions and design clarification.
- Prepare necessary files for customer review and approval.
- Process PCB layout routing, trace length matching, power plane, back-drill, clean up DRCs, …
- Receive project information from PCB application engineer, sale, and customer.
- Export bill of material (BOM). Calculate and select substitute components.
- Cooperate with other departments for any relative issues.
- Work closely with SI PI engineer for optimizing component placement, layer stack-up, routing priority, and copper plane distribution.
- Impedance calculation for single-ended and differential pairs.
- Contact fab vendors for DFM specs to ensure the design meets their capability.
- Generating manufacturing documentation such as Gerbers, IPC, solder paste stencil, assembly drawing, netlist connection…
- Deploy the schematic diagram.
- Netlist to PCB layout and process component placement.
- Select PCB material and calculate layer stack-up based on SI PI specification.
- Pad-stack and component creation including schematic symbol and PCB footprint.

- At least 02 years of professional experience in the PCB Design field
- Board testing, Analysis, and Reporting. Complying with Hardware design rules.
- Good knowledge of Digital circuits, Analog and Mixed-signal circuits, Power supply design, and high-speed design
- Able to write/communicate in English.
- Familiar with PCB design tools: Altium, Allegro, PAD…
- Have a background in Electronics, Electrical- Electronics, Mechatronics, or relevant
- Ability to work independently as well as with team members.
