PHP Developer

The Job

• Design, develop and architect a SaaS platform
• Build and maintain a REST API
• Provide mentoring to other developers
• Participate and drive code review sessions
• Recommend improvements to infrastructure, technology and processes
• Prototype experimental features and evaluate new technologies
• Works closely with members of project teams

General:

• Years of experience: at least 2 years
• Excellent logical thinking ability

• Good problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Able to work independently with “Can-Do” and “High Responsibility” spirit

Desired Skills:

• Expert knowledge of web development
• PHP/MySQL web development
• Proficient OOP, Design Pattern, common framework, REST APIs and SDK development
• Knowledge of frontend coding, including JS, SASS/SCSS/LESS and responsive web design
• Experience with relational databases, including schema design and optimization
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Additional software skills are a plus:

• Experience with dev-ops is a plus
• Fluent speaking/writing english is a plus
• Experience with geographically distributed development teams is a strong plus.
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, CakePHP 3 or Symfony a plus
